| It's possible to access this feature by choosing Window/Toolbars
and picking SymmetryBar. |
|
This feature has three mode of operation: No symmetry, Radial Symmetry
and Mirror symmetry. The first time this bar is selected, the No symmetry
button is enabled and most of the icons on the toolbar are grey out.
In Radial Symmetry mode, satellite brush nibs, called satellite
points, create brush strokes around a center point.
In Mirror Symmetry mode, an identical brush stroke is created
on the horizontal plane, the vertical plane, or both, depending on
which one you have selected on the toolbar.
Spend a lot of time playing with this tool: this one is the only way
to know really this feature. After using the symmetry tools, be sure
to select the No Symmetry button before closing the Symmetry toolbar:
this is because the last-used Symmetry mode remains in effect regardless
of whether the toolbar is open or not. |
