The photos of this draw originate from
MiMì jewels advertising page: I was interested by different postures
of the same model.
At first, I blocked out the images (its masks have to be saved on alpha
channel for an following use), afterwards, I define the dimensions and the
position of the figures and I produce the background that, in these circumstances,
is remained the original one without logo and widened with copy/paste and
clone tool for covering a lager surface as necessary for the final disposition
of the composition.(8)
I elaborate the background only with the overlap of an orange level without
the part of the surface corresponding to the central image, to avoid undesired
color effects in the figures. I cut, with masks, all the images that are
interposed among the background and the close up shot to avoid their visibility
when some merge mode is applied. The image 10 is gotten
adding the 4 with the 11 and the 9
in normal merge mode. The 11 is gotten from 6
with 9 mask cut. The 12 is a copy of
11 which I applied the sketchpad effect in overlay merge mode.
The 13 level is a toned down orange/yellow in tonality
merge mode. |

| All these above listed levels lead to
14 that with 7 and some effects, that
I don't quote for short, lead to 15 icon. Now I sum the
16, highlight merge mode, the 17 that
is the left image with spiralweave blurr, the 18 (a
17 copy with contour effect 'find edges') softlight merge mode
to obtain the 19, that, additioned to 20
overlap merge mode and the 21 soft light merge mode, become
background (23), that you can see here with central image
that however lays on another level. |

| Create object from background for further
changes . Level 24 has screen merge mode, the 25
(a copy of 15) screen merge mode again, the 26
softlight merge mode, the 27 (25 copy)
colorburn merge mode, the 25 always normal merge mode (in
real work this level is ever the same, that is without changes, and is necessary
to see the background changes). |

| Combine the two mid-shot images, in 29
icon, to a new background and I create object from background again. The
30 icon deeplight merge mode (27 copy
with Kraussianblurr effect), combine background and oject again: 31.
The addition of 32 softlight merge mode, 33
(spinblurr of the central image) dissolve merge mode, 34
spin blurr again, but with difference merge mode, gives me the 36
icon |

| Now I add the level 35
texturize merge mode, 38 (32 copy) highlight
merge mode, 39 (33 copy) add merge mode
to get 40. Afterwards the 41 (34
copy) highlight merge mode and the 42 screen merge mode
and 43 screen merge mode, become 44 that
will be background and object afterwards. |

| The 45 multiple merge

47, background and object again. Finally 48
divide merge mode, 49 highlight merge mode, 50
softlight merge mode to background become the definitive draw. |

Now the foreground needs some perfectioning
touch, as it is possible to see in the enlargement in the 52
icon. I put the background to object and, on a copy of the draw, I light
the dark edges of the image with clonetool and, when they disappear, I combine
all levels into background, I increase the definition and finish my work.(click
on the 51 to see an enlargement
of the image).
I know that the following of this path has not been very simple, but however
I hope to have succeded in a sufficiently clear and useful explanation. |
