Orbits
creates brush strokes by rotating a nib around a center line as the brush
tool has been drag: the results are brush strokes that would been impossible
any other way.
The most important control is the Toggle Orbit Button, it controls the the
selection of this feature.
Orbits are pixels painted by nibs around a center line, only if the Include
Center button is enabled the center line is also included and it is possible
to see it.
The brush setting docker shows many other settings for the orbits.
Number of orbits: this setting determines
the number of orbits that are distributed around the center of a brush stroke.
Use a value from 1 to 128: use lower values for spirals and higher values
for rings. Radius: this setting refers to the size
of the orbits produced, not of the size of the brush. Rotation
speed: this setting determines how many times per brush stroke
the orbit is going to cycle through its pattern. Grow speed
and Grow amount: these two settings control the overall amplitude
and duration of the cycle. Color variation settings
(in the separate roll-up): control the colors
(hue range and speed), how vibrant the colors in the orbit brush strokes
are (saturation range and speed) and the overall Lightness.
